Sarawak’s First AI Biodiversity Museum to Be Built in Miri
AI Integration in Traditional Medicine

A groundbreaking project is underway in Miri—Sarawak’s first biodiversity museum. This innovative space will not only display the diversity of traditional and modern medicine but also harness artificial intelligence (AI) to create an interactive visitor experience.

According to Professor Dong Jingcheng, Director of the Institute of Integrative Medicine at Fudan University, the museum is a world-first—the first globally to integrate AI into the study of traditional medicine.

Expected to Open Mid-Year

Professor Dong added that the museum is on track for completion and is slated to open by mid-year.
