๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ฌ Meet the Evaluators:
French geologist Jean-Simon Pagรจs and Spanish geographer Antonio Garcia Jimรฉnez โ€“ both globally recognized for their work in geopark management โ€“ will explore our iconic sites to see if we meet UNESCOโ€™s world-class standards.

Some of the rocks here are over 250 million years old! Our geology connects us to the ancient histories of Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond. ๐ŸŒ

๐Ÿ™ Huge thanks to all communities, agencies, and partners whoโ€™ve worked tirelessly for this milestone. Letโ€™s keep our fingers crossed and hope to see Sarawak officially join the UNESCO Global Geopark family! ๐Ÿ’š
