💸1-Star Review Over Going Cashless? This M’sian Café Sparks Heated Debate!
A local café recently shared how a customer gave them a 1-star review—not because of bad food or service—but because they don’t accept cash.

The customer wrote:

“Never again. The business is a cashless business. Cash is still legal tender in Malaysia, and you must accept it. I do not support cashless businesses.”

In response, the café explained:

“It’s sad to get a 1-star review not for our food or service, but just because of our cashless policy. We’re fully cashless for safety and accuracy reasons.”

They also clarified a billing error the customer mentioned, saying they would’ve gladly corrected it if it had been raised at the time.

⚖️ So… cash or no cash?
Malaysians are divided—some say cash is still king, while others support a digital future. One user even pointed out that Bank Negara Malaysia allows businesses to choose whether or not to accept cash.

What’s your take? Should all businesses still accept cash, or is it time to move forward with cashless payments?
