✨ Homegrown talent Esme Wong—born and raised in Kuching—and her husband, award-winning American pianist Jacob Nydegger, graced the stage for the “Echoes of Love” concert, captivating the audience with a breathtaking classical piano performance.

Esme Wong’s musical journey has taken her from the streets of Kuching to the grand stages of the world — including Carnegie Hall (New York), Kulturpalast (Germany), and the Winspear Opera House (Dallas). Now based in Dresden, Germany, she works as an opera coach and continues to inspire globally with her passion for classical music and community outreach.
A former member of the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Esme earned scholarships to study in Italy and later completed her music degrees in the U.S. She has also used her music to bring hope to communities in Cambodia, the Philippines, and Bosnia. ❤️
