🏥 Sarawak's Government Clinics Going Digital — 70% of Patients to Benefit! 📲
Say goodbye to bulky medical folders!
By the end of this year, 149 government clinics across Sarawak will go fully paperless — covering approximately 70% of the state's patient volume.

📌 Deputy Premier Dato Amar Dr. Sim Kui Hian shared on Facebook after visiting the Siburan Government Clinic that the Sarawak Government has allocated RM10 million in 2024 to drive this digital healthcare transformation.

“This initiative will not only boost service efficiency but also ease the burden on patients in managing their medical records,” he said.

🛠️ He also revealed that the Siburan clinic is undergoing several infrastructure upgrades, including:

-Expansion of the blood test lab
-Air-conditioning system improvement
-Upgrades to electrical facilities and the sewage system

The project, costing RM900,000, is currently 12% complete and is expected to be fully ready by December 2025.

The government remains committed to improving clinic environments and enhancing the overall healthcare experience for all.
