New Premier’s Office named Kompleks Satria Pertiwi
Last night marked a proud moment for Sarawak as the new Sarawak Premier’s Office Complex in Petra Jaya was officially named Kompleks Satria Pertiwi, in a ceremony graced by Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.This meaningful occasion also coincided with the 75th birthday celebration of our Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg — a double celebration of leadership and legacy! 🎉
🛠️ Construction of the complex began in January 2023, with the vision to establish a secure, smart, and efficient hub for Sarawak’s top leadership. The facility is equipped with advanced technology and a state-of-the-art government data centre, setting a new benchmark for administrative excellence.
🏛️ Set to be fully completed in 2025, the complex features:
✅ A main 3-storey building
✅ Two supporting blocks
✅ A design that beautifully blends modern architecture with local cultural elements
📍Strategically located on elevated ground in Petra Jaya — near the State Legislative Assembly this new complex will soon become the heart of Sarawak’s administrative operations.
