Bako & Lambir Hills Recognised as ASEAN Heritage Parks 🏞️
Bako National Park and Lambir Hills National Park will officially receive their ASEAN Heritage Park (AHP) certificates this coming November 2025 at the 8th ASEAN Heritage Parks Conference in Quang Ninh, Vietnam. 🇻🇳This recognition marks another proud milestone as both parks join Gunung Mulu National Park (AHP since 1984), giving Sarawak a total of three ASEAN Heritage Parks! 🏞️🌏
Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) shared:
“This recognition celebrates Sarawak’s exceptional biodiversity, unique ecosystems, and strong commitment to conservation, placing our national parks among the most treasured protected areas in the ASEAN region.” 💚
