Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, announced these exciting projects as part of the Stateโ€™s commitment to nurturing young talent and preparing for the SEA Games 2027, where Kuching will proudly co-host the opening ceremony.

At the Borneo Games 2025 closing ceremony, he highlighted how sports not only build discipline but also resilience and unity among youths across the region. The revival of the Games has also strengthened bonds among athletes from Borneo and beyond.

๐Ÿฅ‡ Sarawak dominated with 62 gold, 61 silver & 45 bronze โ€” nearly 3 times more gold than the runner-up!
๐Ÿฅˆ Sabah โ€“ 26 gold
๐Ÿฅ‰ East Kalimantan โ€“ 12 gold
๐Ÿ… Labuan โ€“ 5 gold
๐Ÿ… Brunei โ€“ 4 gold
