Four impressive vessels from the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) made their way to the Kuching Port Authority (KPA) last weekend β€” marking part of the 79th birthday celebration of Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.

🚒 The public open day featured four of TLDM’s key naval assets β€” KD Kelantan, KD Badik, KD Rencong, and KD Paus β€” drawing thousands of visitors eager to explore life at sea.

The ships sailed all the way from Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan, before returning to their home base after the event.

🎯 Besides touring the ships, visitors also got to check out the TLDM Career Exhibition and enjoy special dishes prepared by navy chefs at the floating restaurant.

According to TLDM, the programme was designed to strengthen the bond between the navy and the public, while inspiring Sarawak’s youth to explore Malaysia’s maritime defence and career opportunities in the navy.
