Deep in the UNESCO World Heritage rainforest, Serumpun Sarawak: Mulu Edition made a beautiful homecoming — celebrating the land and communities that first inspired its story.Hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts and the Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), the event carried the theme:

🍽️ Guests enjoyed a seven-course gastronomic journey by Chef James Won and Sarawak’s Indigenous food custodians, blending modern innovation with ancestral wisdom.
🌱 The Serumpun Salon also explored how Indigenous knowledge connects with sustainability and ESG values, featuring inspiring voices from Sarawak’s creative and cultural scene.
🎶 The evening ended with the soulful performance of “Ilun Kuai”, capturing the harmony of land, people, and spirit.
