🌸 Sarawak to Brew Its Own Orchid Tea! 🌸
Sarawak is set to develop a unique orchid-based beverage industry, inspired by its rich biodiversity. 🌿Premier Abang Johari revealed that the idea came from his late wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang, who once suggested making tea from local orchids. 💐
“Since it’s part of her legacy, I’ve asked my daughter to continue this effort. Just like Earl Grey or Jasmine Tea, we can have our own Orchid Tea,” he said.
Research is now underway to ensure the tea’s quality and health benefits before entering global markets — marking another step toward Sarawak’s sustainable, nature-based economy. 🌏💚
