Share the Gift of Reading: Donate a Book, Inspire a Child
DayakDaily is once again teaming up with Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) for our annual Children’s Book Collection Drive — and we need your help! 💕This initiative aims to collect children’s books from the public to be donated to kids in rural Sarawak, helping them discover the joy of reading and learning.
📦 Drop-off Locations:
🏢 DayakDaily Office, TT3 Plaza (Ground Floor, next to HWC Coffee, off Jalan Canna)
🏬 La Promenade Mall, Kota Samarahan (Book collection area available from Oct 13 – Nov 21, 2025)
All donated books will be delivered to a selected rural library during our D’Drift Trip 2026, taking place from Feb 18 – 27, 2026.
Over the past few years, with your kind support, successfully donated:
✅ 1,052 books and 10 bags of soft toys to Tarat (2025)
✅ 1,340 books and 3 boxes of toys to Ulu Baram (2024)
✅ 1,000 storybooks and 2 bags of toys to Ulu Belaga (2023)
✅ Over 1,000 books to Penan children in SK Lusong Laku (2022)
Every book you give can spark imagination, learning, and hope. 🌈
