A stunning new coffee table photobook, Snapshots of Sarawak, has just been launched — celebrating the beauty, culture, and identity of Sarawak through powerful visual storytelling. 💚

Featuring nearly 300 award-winning photographs by over 70 talented photographers, the book brings to life Sarawak’s diverse people, rich heritage, and breathtaking landscapes.

Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Snowdan Lawan, said the book is more than a collection of beautiful images — it’s a living archive that preserves Sarawak’s cultural memories and celebrates the diversity that defines us.

“Imagine guests in hotels across Kuching, Miri, Sibu, or Bintulu flipping through this book — they’re not just seeing photos, but discovering the real story of Sarawak,” he said.

The 300-page full-colour publication, compiled by the Sibu Photographic Society, showcases winning entries from various state-level photography contests held between 2022 and 2024, with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP).
