Over 500 performers from 46 teams across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and China will gather in Kuching for one of the most anticipated cultural and sporting events of the year — the SOIDLDC 2025!Organised by the Chinese Martial Art Association (CMAA) and sanctioned by the Dragon and Lion Dance Federation of Malaysia, this championship returns for its second year after a highly successful debut.
🏆 A total of RM65,000 in prizes is up for grabs across four main categories:
1️⃣ Northern Lion Dance
2️⃣ High Pole Southern Lion Dance
3️⃣ Traditional Southern Lion Dance
4️⃣ Moonlight Dragon
Among the highlights are performances from world-class teams, including the reigning Moonlight Dragon World Champion (Johor) and the defending High Pole Southern Lion Dance Champion (China).
