🌳 A New Park for the Community at Tabuan Jaya! 🌈

What used to be just a plain empty field has now transformed into a beautiful, colourful, and inclusive park for the Tabuan Jaya community! 💚

Located at Lorong Bayor Bukit 14, this upgraded open space was completed in just 4 months (June–October 2025) under the Pembangunan Landskap Persekitaran Kehidupan programme — funded by JLN (Department of Landscape Malaysia) and KPKT (Ministry of Housing and Local Government).

The project includes:
🌿 New walkway & proper drainage
🎠 Children’s playground
🏋️ Outdoor fitness equipment
🏓 Concrete table tennis table
🪑 Gazebo & hopscotch game
💡 Solar-powered lights
🌳 Newly planted trees & greenery

Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng said the transformation shows how teamwork between federal and local authorities can bring real change.

“This park is for everyone — a place to play, exercise and connect,” he shared.

The initiative is part of MBKS’s effort to promote healthy, active, and sustainable living in Kuching South. 🌿
