🌕✨ Double Cosmic Delight Tonight! ✨🌠
Malaysians, get ready for a magical night sky — two rare celestial events will light up the heavens at the same time tonight! 🌌
🔭 1️⃣ Southern Taurids Meteor Shower
Active since Sept 23, this meteor shower will peak tonight and in the early hours of Nov 6. Under ideal conditions, you could see about 5 meteors per hour streaking across the sky. 🌠
🌕 2️⃣ The Beaver Supermoon
At 9:19 PM, the year’s biggest and brightest full moon will take center stage! This supermoon happens when the moon is at its closest point to Earth — about 356,832 km away — making it look larger and more radiant than usual. 🌝
According to the Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA), the moon will also pass through the Pleiades star cluster (Seven Sisters) in the constellation Taurus — some stars may even seem to “disappear” behind the moonlight for a few hours! 🌟
💡 Pro tip: For the best view, head somewhere dark and open — far from city lights — and look up. Tonight’s double spectacle is not to be missed! 💫
