Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation Berhad (SDEC) has officially launched the TAP & GO Mart — the first-ever fully commercialised unmanned mart in Malaysia — at Baitulmakmur Building II! 🏬✨Powered by cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI), the mart uses AI cameras, smart-shelf sensors, and IoT systems to identify products and automatically charge customers as they walk out — no checkout counters, no cash, just tap and go! 🛒🤖
“This is part of our effort to advance Sarawak’s digital economy. We have S Pay Global, online parking coupons, and now a smart mart,” said SDEC chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Morshidi Abdul Ghani.
Operating 24/7, the mart integrates seamlessly with SDEC’s SBOX AI Wallet — available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store 📱

The launch marks another major step under the Sarawak Digital Economy Blueprint 2030, aligning with PCDS 2030 to transform Sarawak into a cashless, data-driven, and AI-enabled economy. 🌐💡
