Hong Kong film icon and producer Simon Yam touched down in Kuching last night for the Asean International Film Festival and Awards (AIFFA) 2025 — and the excitement is real! 🎬🌟

Yam, who started his career in Hong Kong TV in the 1970s, has starred in countless iconic films and even made his Hollywood debut in Angelina Jolie’s “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life” (2003). Today, he remains one of Asia’s most respected actors.
Last night, he was warmly welcomed at Kuching International Airport by Dr Suzie Lim Swee Yian (Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts) and AIFFA 2025 Executive Director Shah Sidek.
