🎤 Stand-Up Comedy: A Boost for Sarawak Tourism & Creative Arts!
Stand-up comedy isn’t just making people laugh—it’s opening exciting opportunities for tourism and the local film industry! 🌟

Datuk Snowdan Lawan, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, shared at Harith Iskander’s live show “Jailed for Jokes: Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban” that events like these inspire aspiring creatives to explore comedy, performance, and film production.

“With guidance from established personalities like Harith, Sarawak can nurture fresh talents. Who knows? Today’s comedy fan could be tomorrow’s filmmaker!” he said. 🎬✨

Zaid Zaini, Executive Director of Front Row Entertainment, added that stand-up comedy is part of efforts to make Kuching an even more attractive destination for tourists. “Comedy is a global trend. We dream of bringing more international artistes here so locals don’t have to travel to KL or Singapore to enjoy world-class shows,” he shared. 🌏

Harith Iskander himself expressed his gratitude for the warm Sarawakian audience, calling it one of his best performances this year. ❤️

The show drew around 630 attendees, including visitors from Australia and New Zealand, proving that laughter truly has no borders! 😄
