🎄 Christmas Parade 2025 in Sibu — Expected 10,000 Participants! 🎄

Get ready, Sibu! This year’s Christmas Parade, organised by the Association of Churches Sarawak (ACS) Sibu Branch, is happening next Saturday, December 13 — and an estimated 10,000 participants are expected to join!

Archdeacon Jose Jol Endru, chairman of the parade, shared that the Roman Catholic Church will host this year’s celebration. He expressed hope for good weather, saying more people tend to join when skies are clear — just like last year.

✨ Earlier this week, he led a heartwarming carolling session at the Grace Itun Upo longhouse, with over 50 carollers from St John’s Anglican Church filling the night with Christmas cheer.

• Assembly Time: 5:00 PM
• Parade Starts: 7:00 PM

The procession will move through several streets in Sibu town. Last year’s route covered Jalan Bujang Suntong, Jalan Pulau, Jalan Channel, Jalan Mission, Jalan Kampung Nyabor, Jalan Ramin, Jalan Morshidi Sidek, Jalan Sanyan, and eventually returned to the square.

Jose hopes for an even larger turnout this year — and of course, blessed weather for a smooth celebration. 🙏

🎶 Upcoming Performance
St John’s Anglican Church will also be performing at Dataran Tun Tuanku Bujang Phase 1 during the Christmas Carnival organised by SMC on December 19, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
