✈️🎊 AirBorneo Takes Off: First Flights to Mukah & Tanjung Manis!
A historic milestone in air travel is coming to Mukah and Tanjung Manis! AirBorneo will make its inaugural flights on January 2, with simultaneous landings at Mukah Airport and Tanjung Manis Airport.According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), these arrivals are set to boost domestic air connectivity, especially across Sarawak’s central coastal region. 🌏
Mukah Division Resident Datuk Kueh Lei Poh shared this exciting news during the Preparatory Meeting for AirBorneo’s first arrivals at the Sarawak Government Administrative Centre on Dec 30. Also present were Balingian Assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi and various heads of departments.
📍 Flight Details on Jan 2:
Mukah Airport: ATR 72 departs Kuching at 8:25 AM → arrives at 9:20 AM
Tanjung Manis Airport: De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter departs Kuching at 8:45 AM → arrives at 9:25 AM
🎉 To celebrate the inaugural arrivals, both airports will host official welcoming ceremonies with the iconic water salute. Don’t miss this historic moment for Sarawak! 💦
