๐ŸŽจ AI Meets Street Art in Kuching! ๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ
Local muralist Aries Kong Chak Kiong, better known as Jagung Art, is taking public art to the next level by integrating AI and VR technology into his latest mural project at Java Street. ๐Ÿ™๏ธ

Using VR goggles ๐Ÿฅฝ, Aries creates the base sketch digitallyโ€”a modern twist that speeds up the early stages compared to traditional doodling โœ๏ธ.

โ€œThis is just one of the techniques we use to kickstart the creative process,โ€ he shared on-site ๐Ÿ‘€.

The mural, a collaboration with Kuching North City Commission (DBKU), started on Jan 6 ๐Ÿ“… and is expected to be completed in two weeks, weather permitting ๐ŸŒค๏ธ. Its theme celebrates the history of Brooke Dockyard โš“, bringing the areaโ€™s past to life.

Aries, assisted by four fellow painters ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽจ, has a long track record of murals across Kuching and Malaysia, including works at Sidma College Sarawak, the Kuching Balloon project at India Street ๐ŸŽˆ, and Sarawakโ€™s tallest mural at Mercure Hotel, Miri ๐Ÿจ.

This new mural promises to enhance Java Streetโ€™s charm, blending heritage storytelling with contemporary digital art ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธโœจ.
