🚧 Batang Saribas 2 Bridge Nearing Completion πŸŒ‰
The Batang Saribas 2 Bridge project has achieved 80.50% completion and is on track to be opened to traffic in November this year.

According to the Sarawak Public Works Department (PWD), Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas conducted a working visit to the project site on Tuesday to assess the latest progress.

During the visit, the Deputy Premier emphasised the importance of continuous monitoring to ensure the project is completed within the targeted timeline. He was also briefed by the project implementation team on the current status of works, on-site challenges, and the remaining scope leading up to completion.

Once completed, the Batang Saribas 2 Bridge is expected to enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, and boost socio-economic activities for communities in the surrounding areas.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Port Development, through Sarawak PWD, reaffirmed its commitment to delivering the project efficiently and with high quality, in line with Sarawak’s development agenda.
