New Road Upgrade and Parking Facility Ready to Serve Bau Community
Great news for Bau! ✨ Two key infrastructure projects are now complete, enhancing connectivity and convenience for the community.✅ A newly upgraded road from Jalan Jambusan to the Bau Bidayuh Cultural Centre (510m long, 8m wide), funded under GKCDA.
✅ A new parking facility at Bau Hospital with 60 bays, funded under the 2025 Rural Transformation Project (RTP).
Deputy Minister of Transport (River and Sea) and Tasik Biru assemblyman, YB Datuk Henry Harry Jinep, visited both sites last Friday to oversee the handover and progress.
The road project has been handed over to the Bau District Council, while the parking facility is set to be transferred to the hospital management next week—after final safety and comfort improvements are made for patients, visitors, and staff.
These upgrades are set to improve daily travel and ease parking challenges at the hospital. Well done to all involved! 🙌
