Starting March 10, eligible recipients will see the assistance credited directly into their accounts via the SPay Global platform.📅 Key Dates to Remember:
• March 7: Official Sarawak-level SKAS launching ceremony in Kuching.
• March 10: Funds begin to be credited to recipients.
✅ Action Required: Make sure your SPay Global app is active and accessible so you can verify the payment once it arrives.
💰 Enhanced Benefits for 2026 (Under Sarawak Budget 2026):
With a total allocation of RM640 million, the government has increased the annual rates to help ease the cost of living:
• Households: (Income RM5,000 & below) ➡️ RM950/year (previously RM800)
• Senior Citizens: (Without dependents, income RM5,000 & below) ➡️ RM500/year (previously RM400)
• Singles: (Income RM2,500 & below) ➡️ RM300/year (previously RM250)
The assistance will be distributed quarterly and can be used via the digital payment platform to purchase essentials like rice, cooking oil, and other daily necessities.
