In celebration of Chap Goh Mei, Datuk Wee Hong Seng, Mayor of Kuching South, has announced that Taman Sahabat along Jalan Song will remain open until midnight this Tuesday, March 3!Families and visitors are invited to soak in the festive atmosphere and enjoy the park’s stunning decorative light displays—perfect for an evening stroll under the stars with loved ones.
“Chap Goh Mei is about togetherness and appreciation. We hope this extended time allows everyone to enjoy the beauty of the celebrations,” said Wee.
All are reminded to follow park rules, keep the area clean, and stay safe while enjoying the night.
