The Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR Sarawak) has officially announced that the Batang Igan Bridge will be opened to the public starting March 16! 🎉This long-awaited infrastructure project is set to greatly improve connectivity for communities in the Mukah Division—making travel smoother and reducing reliance on the Batang Igan ferry service. 🚗🌉
In a statement today, JKR Sarawak shared that the opening comes at a perfect time—just in time for Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, making it easier for families and visitors to travel ahead of the festive season. 🕌❤️
