Good news for households in Sarawak! A 25% electricity discount has been introduced to help ease the cost of living—but here’s an important detail you should know 👇Although the discount applies to electricity usage from April to December 2026, the savings for April usage will only appear in your June 2026 bill (not April’s bill).
💡 Here’s how it works:
✔️ Discount is applied automatically
✔️ No registration or application needed
✔️ Available to all domestic users across Sarawak (benefiting around 714,000 households)
📅 From May onwards, the discount will be reflected in each monthly bill as usual.
⚠️ For those receiving estimated bills:
Make sure your meter readings are accurate to ensure you receive the correct discount. You can submit your latest readings or supporting documents via:
