From Friday (May 8) onwards, Bau will be hosting its very first Cultural & Tourism Festival 2026 β a 2-day celebration filled with culture, music, food, and community spirit.
Held at REDEEMS Centre Bidayuh Cultural Village (BCV), Singai, the festival brings together the rich heritage of Bau in one vibrant space, featuring traditional performances, local delicacies, exhibitions, and family-friendly activities.
Expect a colourful showcase of Bidayuh culture and customs from Jagoi, Singai, Krokong, Tringgus, Bratak, and Serembu β along with cultural displays from Salako Rara (Lundu), Malay, and Chinese communities in Bau.

Friday: 10am β 10pm
Saturday: 10am β 10pm (main ceremony & grand show in the evening)
π The grand opening ceremony will be officiated by MOTAC Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing on Saturday evening.
