Eight Sarawak entrepreneurs are proudly bringing the State’s rich culinary heritage to the national stage at MYFOOD Expo 2026 in Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾, showcasing iconic local delights such as Sarawak layer cakes 🎂, terung asam 🍆, dabai 🟣, and more.
Held from May 7 to 9 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) 🏢, the expo serves as a strategic platform for Sarawak’s food and beverage industry to expand its reach both locally and globally 🌏📈.
The Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investment Sarawak (MINTRED) is making its debut at the event, highlighting a wide range of innovative products inspired by Sarawak’s natural resources 🌱 — including pepper 🌶️, sago 🌾, sacha inchi 🥜, terung asam 🍆, and dabai-based products 🟣, which are steadily gaining recognition in international markets 🌍✨.
The expo is organised by Opulence Exhibition Services Sdn Bhd, with support from Malaysia’s Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, and is held alongside the International Café & Beverage Show (ICBS) ☕🍹, further strengthening its regional trade significance.
Previous editions have attracted over 13,000 visitors from 55 countries 🌍👥, making it one of the region’s leading food and beverage trade platforms.
MINTRED’s participation is supported by MYSED, SEDC, Department of Agriculture Sarawak, and Sarawak Manufacturers’ Association 🤝, reflecting strong collaboration to empower local entrepreneurs 💼🚀.
Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Malcolm Mussen Lamoh was also present in support of efforts to elevate Sarawak-made products onto the global stage 🌏💪.
