History has been etched in the Land of the Hornbills! 🦅 Sarawak proudly hosted the Borneo Association of Top Achiever Scouts (ATAS) Gathering II 2026 for the very first time!
Organised by the Persaudaraan Pengakap Raja Malaysia (PPRM) Sarawak Branch, this prestigious event brought together Queen’s Scouts, King’s Scouts, Baden-Powell Award holders, and Top Achiever Scouts from Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, and across the region. 🌍🤝
✨ More Than a Reunion
As Organising Chairman Ting Wei Shun beautifully put it: "Attaining Scouting’s highest awards is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a lifelong commitment to serve society."
The event was graced by top leadership, including:
👤 Chief Scout of Malaysia, Major General Professor Dato' Dr Mohd Zin Bidin (Rtd)
👤 ATAS-World President, Paramasivam Palany
👤 Representatives from the Sarawak Scout Council & Scouts Association of Malaysia
📜 Honouring Our Heritage & Dedication
From celebrating Sarawak’s rich scouting roots dating back to 1913, to presenting prestigious Brotherhood Commendations (including the Bronze Malayan Tiger Award and Long Service Awards) — the gathering was a powerful testament to leadership, integrity, and humility. 🎖️
Welcome to all new ATAS members who received their official scarves and badges! 🧣✨
A huge thank you to the Sarawak Scout Council, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and everyone who made this event a resounding success. The spirit of brotherhood lives on! ⚜️❤️
