Sarawak artist Bong Shin Siong is proudly showcasing his breathtaking 20-metre-long watercolour masterpiece, Flora and Fauna of Borneo II, at the Asia University Museum of Modern Art in Taichung, Taiwan.
The stunning artwork features 128 species of Borneo's native flora and fauna, including hornbills, gibbons, orchids, butterflies and many rare rainforest species, celebrating the incredible biodiversity of Sarawak.
Originally planned as a 10-metre painting, Bong expanded it to 20 metres after discovering even more amazing species worth documenting. He's now working on an even bigger 30-metre masterpiece.
More than just a painting, this artwork is a tribute to Borneo's natural heritage and a reminder of the importance of protecting our forests for future generations.
👏 A proud moment for Sarawak on the international stage!
