๐โโ๏ธ๐ Sematan is gearing up for another major sporting event!
Following the success of the Borneo 100 Triathlon, Sematan is set to host the inaugural Rimbun International Sematan Run 2026 on 6 September 2026, with an estimated 2,000 runners expected to take part.Participants can choose from three race categories:
๐ 5KM Fun Run
๐ 10KM Competitive Run
๐ 21KM Half Marathon
With breathtaking coastal scenery and a peaceful atmosphere, Sematan continues to grow as one of Sarawakโs emerging sports tourism destinations. Events like these not only encourage a healthy lifestyle but also bring more visitors to the area, benefiting local hotels, restaurants and small businesses.
๐ฐ Runners will compete for a RM40,000 prize pool, and every registered participant will also have the chance to win a Proton e.MAS electric vehicle in a lucky draw!
