SARAWAK DAY 2026: IBU PERTIWI FLAG FLIES HIGH AT DATARAN IBU PERTIWI 🇲🇾✨
Towering high over Dataran Ibu Pertiwi, Sarawak’s massive state flag is officially flying proud ahead of Sarawak Day on July 22! 🔴🟡⬛Measuring an impressive 25m by 12.4m and hoisted on a 99.4-metre flagpole, the Ibu Pertiwi flag was raised today during the special July 2026 ceremony, officiated by Minister for Food Industry, Commodity, and Regional Development, Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom.
Organised by DBKU in collaboration with M-FICORD, the morning featured:

🎶 The anthem Ibu Pertiwiku & special performances by Ermie Sanisha, Azam Pitt, and the SMK Green Road Marching Band!
💡 Did you know? Held every first Sunday of the month since July 2024, this flag-raising ceremony has become a popular local attraction that instils pride, unity, and love for Sarawak.
