🌿🪣 Get Ready to Get Muddy! Bebuak Mud Festival Returns to Limbang This Weekend! 🎉

The fun, excitement and plenty of mud are back as the Bebuak Mud Festival 2026 returns for its seventh edition this weekend! 🥳

Supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts with a RM40,000 allocation, the festival will take place on 8 to 9 August at Kampung Meritam, Limbang, as part of the district’s tourism calendar.

Organised by the Limbang District Council (MDL), the festival aims to showcase Bebuak Mud as a unique tourism attraction while bringing visitors together through fun-filled activities and local experiences.

Visitors can look forward to a variety of exciting programmes, including:

💪 Tug-of-War Challenge
🏃 Cross-Country Run
🏆 Bebuak Warrior Challenge
🌸 Flower Arrangement Competition
🏐 Mud Volleyball Competition
🐃 Buffalo Riding Experience

One of the festival highlights will be the Mud Volleyball Competition, where participants can enjoy a one-of-a-kind sporting experience in the muddy surroundings of Bebuak.

Organisers expect between 5,000 and 10,000 visitors to join the celebration, including guests from outside Limbang, especially from Brunei.

Beyond the fun and laughter, the festival also helps promote local tourism by supporting related industries such as homestays, handicrafts and traditional food in Limbang.
