Get ready for a whole month of creativity, entertainment and culture as WAK Festival returns from October 1 to 31, 2026! 🎉This year’s festival is bigger than ever, featuring:

🌏 Across Kuching, Miri & Sibu
🎭 14 genres including arts, comedy, culture, music, theatre, sports, food, film and wellness!
From exhibitions and live performances to concerts, talks, workshops and unique experiences, there’s something for just about everyone. 😍
Since its debut in 2017, WAK Festival has grown into one of Sarawak’s major events, expanding beyond Kuching to connect creative communities across the state.
And the numbers show just how much it has grown — from more than 70,000 visitors in 2017 to around 700,000 in 2025! 👀
The 2025 festival also generated an estimated RM67 million in overall economic impact across Kuching, Sibu and Miri, benefiting hotels, restaurants and Sarawak’s creative industry.
