Adventure, Culture & Nature Take Over Padawan This October! 🚣‍♀️🌳

Adventure, nature, culture and local businesses will come together for the Padawan Discovery Festival, happening from October 2–6, 2026. 🎉

Over five days, visitors can look forward to a variety of activities, including the Padawan Raft Safari, Sarawak Trade Fair, as well as sports, adventure, tourism and cultural programmes.

🚣‍♀️🌳 Beyond the fun and adventure, the festival also aims to create more opportunities for the local community.

With more visitors exploring Padawan, local homestays, food operators, small businesses, tourism operators and communities along the river can all benefit. ❤️

Padawan is home to beautiful rivers, lush rainforests, traditional villages and a rich cultural heritage — making it a great place to discover nature, adventure and community-based tourism.

Meanwhile, the Sarawak Trade Fair, organised together with the Sarawak Manufacturers’ Association, will take place from October 2–4 at the Ang Cheng Ho Quarry Multipurpose Hall, offering another platform for local businesses, products and investment opportunities.

🎊 This year’s festival is also extra meaningful as it coincides with the 70th anniversary of Padawan Municipal Council (MPP).
