🌿 Kuching gets international recognition as a “Healthy City”! 🇲🇾✨
Another proud moment for Sarawak! 💚

Kuching has been recognised as a “Healthy City Expert” by the Alliance for Healthy Cities (AFHC), highlighting the city’s community-driven efforts to create a more inclusive, safe, sustainable and liveable place for everyone.

The recognition was presented during the 11th Global Conference for the Alliance for Healthy Cities 2026, held in Sydney, Australia, from Sept 1 to 3.

🏘️ One of the key efforts highlighted is DBKU’s Friendly Neighbourhood initiative, together with various programmes that encourage residents to take part in local community and socioeconomic development.

It’s more than just making Kuching a modern city — it’s about building a city where communities feel connected, included and involved. 🤝

With this recognition gaining international attention, it’s certainly something Kuching and Sarawak can be proud of! 🌏❤️
