🌕🏮 Mid-Autumn Festival is coming to Kuching South!

This year, MBKS is bringing the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations closer to the community — with activities happening at three different locations around Kuching South. ✨

Instead of everyone gathering at one central venue, families, friends and neighbours can simply head to a location closer to home and enjoy the festive atmosphere together. 🥮🏮

📍 Kenyalang Traffic Garden
🗓 24 & 25 September
⏰ 6.30pm – 10.30pm

Expect food stalls, live performances, clown shows, balloon giveaways, free lanterns and mooncakes while stocks last! 🎈🏮

Kids can also look forward to electric go-kart activities — specially planned to match the Traffic Garden theme. 🚗💨 And no worries, it's not a race… just a fun activity for the little ones!

📍 Hui Sing Recreation Park
🗓 25 September
⏰ 6pm – 9pm

There will be free lanterns and mooncakes, game stations, lantern rides, a wishing wall and live performances. 🌕✨

📍 Taman Sahabat (Friendship Park) – Moon in 2.0
🗓 17 – 27 September
⏰ 4pm – 11pm

This one comes with a more modern twist, including a projected story and an immersive themed experience at the Chawan Building on selected dates. 👀✨

More than just mooncakes and lanterns, this year's celebration is all about family, neighbours and community. ❤️

Although the Mid-Autumn Festival has its roots in Chinese culture, the celebrations in Kuching South are open to people of all races, reflecting the multicultural spirit of Kuching. 🫶🏻
