The Sarawak Regatta-Kuching Waterfront Festival 2026 will take over the Kuching Waterfront from Oct 23 to Nov 1, bringing together international dragon boat racing, cultural performances, talent competitions and plenty of activities for the whole family. ✨

Now in its 12th edition, the international dragon boat regatta will feature seven categories, including Premier Open, Mixed, Women and Cancer Survivors categories.
This year will also see new participating countries such as Liechtenstein, Vietnam, Cambodia, Argentina, Fiji, Moldova and Mexico. 🇱🇮🇻🇳🇰🇭🇦🇷🇫🇯🇲🇩
One of the new categories is the International Senior Bs Open 12’s, for participants aged 50 and above. 💪

And of course, the race everyone will be watching for — Raja Sungai — will take place on Nov 1, with the winner taking home a challenge trophy and RM30,000. 🏆💰

Then from Oct 30–Nov 1, the Festival Gendang Melayu Sarawak will bring even more traditional performances, including bermukun, Sarawak Malay drums, sape, buskers and cultural performances from Sarawak’s different ethnic communities. 🥁🎵
