🎨✨ Sarawak Borneo Craft Festival is back this October!

Kuching is set to get even livelier this October as the Sarawak Borneo Craft Festival returns as part of the Sarawak Regatta-Kuching Waterfront Festival 2026! 🎉

📅 23 October – 1 November 2026
📍 Kuching Waterfront

This year, the festival is targeting RM3 million in sales and 125,000 visitors — up from RM2.4 million in sales recorded last year. 👀

Organised by Kraftangan Malaysia Sarawak together with the Sarawak Craft Council, the festival will feature 43 tents with craft entrepreneurs from Sarawak, Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia.

Under the theme “Ini Kraf Malaysia” and concept “Kraf Identiti Malaysia”, visitors can look forward to:

🛍️ Craft sales & exhibitions
🎨 Craft demonstrations
🤝 Business matching sessions
💡 Knowledge-sharing & entrepreneurship talks
🎤 Stage performances

And yes, the craft venue will once again be fully air-conditioned — so you can shop and browse comfortably even during the day! 😆

But that's not all! The 10-day waterfront celebration will also bring plenty of food, music, cultural performances and entertainment to Kuching Waterfront. 🍜🎶✨

🇧🇳🇲🇾 Malam Budaya Se-Borneo will kick off on 23 October, featuring performances from Sarawak, Sabah, Brunei, Kalimantan Barat and Kalimantan Timur.

From 24–29 October, expect a series of exciting programmes including:

⭐ Kids Talent Night
🎵 Sound of Borneo
🎤 Waterfront Idol
🌟 Sarawak Got Talent
🎸 Battle of the Band
👗 Creative Ethnic Fashion Competition

Several popular artistes are also expected to perform, including Anggrek, Ernie Zakri, Mawat, Mus May and Aina Abdul. 🎶

🥁 From 30 October to 1 November, the spotlight will turn to the Festival Gendang Melayu Sarawak, featuring Bermukun, Sarawak Malay drum performances, sape music, buskers and cultural performances from Sarawak's diverse communities.

Meanwhile, Showcase Usahawan Sarawak will also run throughout the festival, with 50 lots featuring food, beverages and Sarawak MSMEs. 🍛🧋
