🏆 Muara Lassa Bridge Wins Road Engineering Excellence Award 2026! 🌉
Another achievement for Sarawak! 🎉The Muara Lassa Bridge in Mukah Division has won the Road Engineering Excellence Awards 2026 under the Large Scale Projects category for projects worth over RM100 million.
Presented by Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi in Kuala Lumpur, the award recognises the project’s engineering excellence and the efforts behind its planning, design and construction.
👏 JKR Sarawak also made a strong showing, with 4 out of 9 shortlisted projects under its purview. Besides Muara Lassa Bridge, the other projects were Marudi Bridge, Sebauh Bridge and the access road to the southern area of Kuching International Airport.
The recognition highlights the dedication, technical expertise and teamwork behind Sarawak’s infrastructure development, helping improve connectivity and support the state’s continued growth.
