🗑️ MBKS Distributes 101 Rubbish Bins in Padungan, Urges Public to Keep Them Clean! 🧹
Kuching South City Council (MBKS), in collaboration with Trienekens, has distributed 101 rubbish bins in Padungan, calling on residents and business operators to do their part in keeping the city clean. ♻️

Speaking at the Padungan AmBank car park this morning, MBKS Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng reminded the public that keeping Kuching clean is a shared responsibility and should not rely solely on waste collection services.

He also highlighted that each rubbish bin costs several hundred ringgit, urging everyone to handle them with care and maintain proper cleanliness to prevent unpleasant odours, protect public hygiene and extend their lifespan.

🍜 Food and beverage operators were also reminded to pay extra attention to the cleanliness of their rubbish bins, as poorly maintained bins could affect hygiene and leave a negative impression on customers.

More than just distributing rubbish bins, the initiative aims to encourage greater public awareness, civic responsibility and better hygiene practices.

A cleaner Kuching starts with all of us! 💚 Let's do our part to keep our surroundings clean and pleasant for everyone.
