Christmas is coming early to Kuching! 🎅🏻🎁 St Peter’s Church, Padungan, will be hosting its very first Christmas Village from Dec 4 to 13, 2026, bringing 10 evenings of festive fun, Christmas lights, music, food and local goodies!With the theme “Rediscover the Heart of Christmas”, visitors can look forward to:
🎄 Beautiful Christmas lights and Nativity displays
🎶 Christmas carolling and musical performances
🍪 Festive food, seasonal treats and handcrafted gifts
🛍️ Local crafts and products under the theme “Made in Sarawak for Christmas”
🙏 Spaces for prayer and quiet reflection
❤️ Sharing the Joy of Christmas
Beyond the festive celebrations, the Christmas Village will also host five special Community Dinners for individuals with special needs, children from charitable organisations and children from outside the city. Sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC), these dinners aim to share the joy of Christmas with those who may otherwise have fewer opportunities to enjoy such celebrations.
The organisers hope to make this a much-loved annual Christmas tradition in Kuching, bringing families, friends and the wider community together through love, kindness and generosity. ❤️
