🎓🌊 i-CATS University’s New Beachfront Campus Coming to Trombol!
Big things are coming to Sarawak’s higher education scene! 👀Land clearing for the new i-CATS University campus at Trombol Beach began in September, with the first phase expected to be completed by October 2027.
📍 A Campus with a Stunning View
Imagine studying with views of Mount Santubong, Satang Island, Kampung Sibo Laut and Telaga Air! The new campus will cover an estimated 220 to 250 acres, with development costs projected at RM300 million to RM400 million.
🚀 What Will Students Study There?
The campus will focus on technology-driven fields, including:
🔹 Aerospace Engineering
🔹 Computer Science & Information Technology
🔹 Energy Engineering
🔹 Green Technology
The project aims to nurture highly skilled talent while supporting research and innovation to drive Sarawak’s future development.
This comes as i-CATS University has officially received full university status from the Ministry of Higher Education, marking another milestone in its growth.
