Get ready, Miri! From June 4 to 14, Mercure Miri City Centre is proud to present ‘Beyond Art: Evolving in 50 Years’, a vibrant 10-day festival celebrating creativity, culture, and community.

The highlight? The Miri International Mural & Art Conference 2025, bringing together six world-renowned mural artists from the UK, China, Taiwan, Malaysia—and our very own local talents—to transform Miri into a breathtaking open-air gallery of murals imagining the city’s future 50 years from now.

Mercure Miri, part of the AccorHotels family, will be the festival’s hub—blending Sarawak’s rich heritage with this innovative art experience.

But this festival is about more than just art. It’s about inclusion, innovation, and building a creative legacy. Partnering with groups like Empower Special Needs Connection and Malaysian Care, the event highlights the incredible talents of the special needs community, giving everyone a voice in shaping Miri’s artistic future.
